About Behold…The Moment!

Frank Grasso has composed an important cantata that takes into account the whole Christmas story–the joy, wonder, and mystery of the birth of the Christ Child as well as the fear, despair, and violence unleashed by a threatened Herod. Utilizing multiple musical genres, “Behold the Moment” engages the audience through spoken word, solos, and choir. It is moving, spiritually, emotionally, and musically!

In listening to the Christmas Canata, I was brought back to my years as a student at St. Lawrence the Marty RCS and hearing the story of the Birth of Jesus and King Herrod’s Attempt at killing Jesus. The funky mix of Rock and Classical music in this fascinating piece of history will appeal to a wide audience of religious people. I believe this Christmas Cantata will become a new revival for church audiences for Christmas seasons to come!

I found "Behold The Moment" to be both inspirational and engaging.  It is the story of the magnificent birth of Christ and then the cruelty of King Herod that followed. The use of inspiring christian music and imagery created an enjoyable and dramatic experience for me.  It left me with a sense of the true meaning of Christmas and the struggles of our christian heritage. Well done!

In listening to this Christmas Canata , it brought me back to my years as a student at St. Joseph’s Catholic grade school ( Babylon, NY) and hearing the story of the Birth of Jesus and King Herrod’s Attempt at killing Jesus. The mix of Rock, Classic music in this Fascinating piece of history will appeal to a wide audience of Religious people. I Believe this Christmas Cantata will become a new revival for church audiences, for Christmas seasons to come! God Bless Frank and all the singers/ musicians on this new CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR!!

I thought this piece was pretty interesting the way it was narrated and then sang it’s a wonderful way to do it so I could understand it much easier. The music was beautiful and what a story to tell. Thank you very much.
